This is what happens when two neighbouring municipalities coordinate to make a street safe for all users.

This used to be a typical suburban arterial road that only the bravest among us would think to cycle down, but after five years of construction, this road has become a lot better for cyclists and drivers.

Connecting old tree-lined neighbourhoods to new mid-rise developments in the suburbs, this redesigned road has been a huge help for so many people. My only complaints are a few rough bumps at certain intersections, but aside from that, it's great to see what forward-thinking councils are capable of.
