we all know how big of a s-tier homage payer he is to carti but listen. he can bite v2 carti and potentially do it better than him. sure carti cemented himself as a great during v2, but it only got there thru snippets so no one really has a concrete idea of what it would’ve been. insane leverage. im saying this as a Carti fan.
since mink said that terrified is a conceptual album with a storyline, here’s what I’ve been sniffing,
the tracks with a full-stop/period are musical dialogues from enzo(mink) and the ones without are from you-know-who (?) portrayed by victoria davidoff
might be a super vague, but this is what i think
mink meets a woman who pursues a hedonistic lifestyle (often led by pleasure and pain). the connection is very light and shrouded by judgement. mink knows that this isn’t gonna be your ideal type of relationship. then there’s the track with an address (the hotel he showed in the short movie?) which ig plays an important part in the storyline. there’s influences here and there (good and bad, but mostly on the bad) and both are embraced by one another. i think mink is trying to etch his name in her mind.
then some flip switches in the woman and shes eager to resort to him, only to seal her fate by enzo himself.
