Installed Snow Leopard
I decided to install Snow Leopard in my Late 2009 iMac 27"
I couldn't have been happier, crap is snappy, and browser somehow works with InterWeb.

Hey people of Hackintosh,
I’ve been trying to install macOS Tahoe on my OptiPlex 3040 SFF today. After making the EFI by hand and installing using the recovery method, I successfully got through to the desktop of Tahoe. I was then met with a problem after a restart from the initial out-of-box experience.
Every reboot shows the logon screen, which works as intended, but after logging in and reaching the desktop, the screen just goes dark after graphics acceleration loads (I get a few seconds on the desktop, like 5–7 seconds, and then boom, dark). Even though I can see my Caps Lock responding, I still can’t see anything on the display.
My OptiPlex has 1 DP and 1 HDMI, and I’ve tried both ports with the same results.
I have attached my configuration above for reference.
Help is apprciated!
