I’m considering the drive from title. Obviously, it will be with a local driver, however, unlike Mandalay to Bagan, which I’ve been told from multiple sources that it’s safe, I’m unable to get same recommendation about the In Le to Mandalay road.

I’m concerned about military activity, as well as poor infrastructure, mudslides, floods, etc.

Any thoughts? Much appreciated.

I'm considering visiting Bagan and In Le, starting from Yangon. I'd like to fly between the three of them, currently trying to optimise the schedule given that there are not a lot of options. A couple of questions:

1. How many days should one spend in In Le given that it will probably be my first and last time there?
2. The flights between Heho and Nyaung U are extremely rare. Should I consider flying to Mandalay and taking a car between Mandalay and Bagan? Is that route safe? I'm thinking military as well as infrastructure wise (flashfloods, landslides, etc)?
3. Is there/ was there recently Malaria or Dengue in In Le?
