They’ve been calling me for well over a year about a not personally guaranteed credit line from a previous business I was involved in. Decided to prioritize the debt actually affecting my credit score, since this specific debt was not reported on my credit score. But anyway, like I said, they’ve been calling me for well over a year, maybe closer to 2 years at this point. I’ve received one piece of mail from them and, honestly, I didnt really understand what it was so it’s in a pile somewhere on my desk. That was months ago, they still call me and leave the same message. I just got a call from another number that said they are a document delivery service. This is the transcript from the voicemail, honestly have no idea if it’s a scam or not or if it’s actually related to the Zwicker stuff. It was an automated voice, not a human, and my phone ID’d it as “Potential Spam”:
“I am calling on behalf of document delivery services. We have been retained a schedule and deliver legal documents to you between the hours of 8 AM and 4 PM at either your home or your place of employment. We'll be making only two attempts to deliver these documents which will require a signature as proof of delivery. If we are unable to deliver these documents after 2 attempts, it will be classified as a failed action to serve, which will resolve in the pending matter to proceed further without your consent. If you have any questions or if you need to reschedule this delivery, press one now to be connected to the next available representative, or you can call the office directly at [phone number] and reference your file number [redacted]. Please be advised this call has been logged and submitted as proof you have been notified of this pending legal matter. Have a good day.”
I know I should contact them, but it’s been so long and they have done basically nothing except keep calling me, which is why I’m like, are they finally making a move or is this just spam?
