I just read and loved Project Hail Mary, then read and did not love The Martian. I really liked the humanity, connection, and achievement in PHM, while I found The Martian’s protagonist to be self-centered and the plot to be less interesting. This is the beginning of my journey into sci-fi. What should I read next?
