Just finished my first year of MSW and stressed about the future - anyone else?
Hey everyone! So I just wrapped up my first year of my MSW and honestly I am already spiraling a little about second year. I am currently dealing with some placement issues and I am really worried about not getting the best experience possible before I graduate.
I guess what I am really looking for is advice from people who have been in my shoes. How do you handle the stress of not knowing if your placement is going to work out? How do you make sure you are getting the most out of your MSW experience, especially when things don’t go as planned? And honestly, how are you all managing financially through this?
I feel like I have so much I want to do and learn but I am also just trying to figure it all out one day at a time. Any advice, words of wisdom, or even just solidarity would mean a lot. Thanks in advance, this community always comes through!
