If you didn’t catch it, La Liga just had a retro matchday (April 10-13) where 38 clubs wore reimagined throwback kits, referees included.

Even the match ball and TV graphics got the retro treatment. It looked brilliant and absolutely blew up on social media.

Now I can’t stop thinking about what the Premier League could do with this. The kit history alone is unreal — bruised banana Arsenal away, Shearer’s Newcastle, Blackburn’s title-winning strip, early 90s Leeds. The nostalgia would be off the charts.

Obviously it’s not simple.

Every PL club has its own kit manufacturer deal which makes coordinating something like this a headache. La Liga pulled it off partly because more clubs share suppliers. But surely a voluntary opt-in would work? Even half the league taking part would make for one of the most-watched weekends of the season.

La Liga are already bringing it back next season. The Premier League is the biggest league in the world — at some point they need to get on this.

Which PL kit would you want to see make a comeback?

I’ve recently been getting more into Italian cinema and wanted to get some recommendations from people who know it well.

What would you consider the greatest Italian films ever made? I’m open to anything e.g. classics, modern films, well-known directors, or even more obscure picks.

I’m aware of some of the big names like Fellini and De Sica, but I’d like to go deeper and build a solid watchlist. If possible, it’d be helpful if you could mention why you rate a film highly (story, cinematography, cultural impact, etc.).

Thanks in advance.
