Chiari without headaches and flares

I was officially diagnosed from a Neurosurgeon close to two years ago. Christine Hammer in Olympia, Washington. I did not get surgery as she said my symptoms may or may not go away and since my herniation was below what's considered "the average" for surgery. Since she also said she had one other person who was like me and the surgery did nothing for her.

I'm just curious about all of you here. Do any of you just have the dizziness with no headaches? Do you feel like high levels of any kind of stress make it worse for you? Do you feel like it's a flare up?

I've had this issue since I was 18 and it has been around since then. Sometimes going away for periods of time. My longest has been about 2 years and then something "triggers" it and it comes back.

40mg to 30mg after a couple weeks

As the title says, I'm going back down to 30mg from 40 in hopes that the 40mg side effects was just too much for me to handle.

Within a couple days of taking the 40mg I was dizzy and I tried to ride it out for about 3 weeks. I didn't have any of the other side effects when I went up to 30. (Sleepy all day, yawning, absolutely exhausted, nausea...) Well I decided couldn't't handle it most days so I'm switching back to 30 where everything was baseline for me. But as of this morning, I feel worse. Am I right in thinking it's my brain adjusting to the lower dose again?

The only reason I went up was because I was having a lot of emotional things happening in my life and it had been a long time coming. Crying a lot of the days, thinking I'm the most horrible person to exist, that I don't deserve anything nice...etc. I was/am going through a breakup after a long term relationship. My ex said some pretty mean things about me that made me not want to be here anymore.
