I recently passed my Class 10th, and now I’m thinking about choosing NIOS for Class 11 and 12. But there are so many myths and negative opinions around it, especially from parents, relatives, and other people.

People keep saying things like:

• NIOS has no value
• Only failed students choose NIOS
• Colleges don’t accept NIOS students
• There’s no future after NIOS
• Regular school is always better
• NIOS students can’t get good careers or opportunities

Because of all this, I’m really confused and stressed. I want to know the real truth from students or people who actually have experience with NIOS.

I wanted to ask:

• Is NIOS actually a good option?
• Are there any problems in college admissions?
• Can NIOS students prepare for exams like JEE/NEET and still succeed?
• Is the certificate valid everywhere?
• What are the real pros and cons of choosing NIOS?
• Does society’s negative opinion about NIOS actually matter in the future?

I’d really appreciate honest advice, personal experiences, and guidance from people who know about it. Thank you
