Second hip replacement
Can some of you share your experiences after getting your other side done? I heard some say it was easier recovery.

Just wandering when did u guys start PT after your surgery. I am two weeks out today and my first session is tomorrow. I feel great, and I see that a lot of you started a few days after surgery. I am glad I havent started yet, I feel my body is a lot stronger just from walking as much I can and icing. Does starting PT so soon after have anything to do with the pain people are having months out, and I am barely in pain two weeks later?
Be very careful those of you that live alone! I had my surgery Thursday 8/20, thought everything was going fine, then Friday after dinner, I went to poop, my blood pressure dropped to 80 over something, was drenched in sweat, my wife called an ambulance, went to ER, every thing checked out ok. They said I just strained too much being a little constipated from the meds. Just be aware and keep your phone with you, I also slipped trying to sit on the toilet riser but caught myself. Be safe!!
I am 54 male having anterior right hip replacement. I have no worries about the procedure, but the thought of a catheter afterwards is giving me major anxiety, simply because it sounds painful and awkward. Has any guys had this recently, and was going to pee after that hard after u get your feeling back. I will be get the spinal anesthesia. Anyone had this done at Orlando Health/Dr. Phillips, Thanks!!!!
