University student seeking participants for short supermarket food waste study

[Academic] Hi everyone, I’m a university student currently working on a sustainability assessment about supermarket food waste and frontline decision-making.

I’m looking for a few people, especially anyone with supermarket, retail, fresh food, hospitality, or food-handling experience, to help test a short proof-of-concept task. It is not an official Woolworths project, and I’m not asking for any confidential workplace information.

The test is a quick simulated supermarket scenario. You’ll be shown a few near-expiry or borderline food items and asked what you would do: markdown, donate, escalate, or bin. The aim is to understand whether a simple decision guide/checklist could help reduce avoidable food waste without compromising food safety.

It should take around 5–8 minutes. Responses are anonymous and will only be used for my university assessment.

I’d really appreciate any help, especially from people who have worked around fresh food, stock handling, expiry dates, markdowns, or disposal decisions. Thank you so much for your time.
