Did a flight lesson in Oahu, Hawaii
Part 61 PPL student about 10 hours in coming out of WA state. Wife and I went on a vacation to Hawaii, and she wanted to do a helicopter tour. Instead, I thought “what if we did a lesson around the island of Oahu instead”?! Top 3 experiences of my entire life! She came up with us and we had the best time flying out of HNL. First towered airport! Can’t believe I took off from the same runway the airlines are flying taking!
