Router-bit not tightening

Hi, I’d love to get some advice if anyone can suggest how to fix my Ryobi brushless router / fix whatever I’m doing wrong!
The bit came loose from my router whilst working (I probably pushed it too hard, going too deep on a pass). After much fiddling I got it seated again and continued, but it happened again shortly after. Now my bit won’t tighten. I can only get it to where it gives fair resistance but can still be pulled out by hand.
I cannot see any obvious warping or damage on the collet or nut. I tried two different collets and two different bits, same result. I tried cleaning the collet and nut (and no, I’m not bottoming out the bit, although I’m unsure as to how much of a gap to leave so I’m trying various depths).
Anyone got any advice?
