I have been thinking about getting into a trade for a few years and hear that many trades can work lots of overtime and potentially weekends. What is my best bet if I want to keep my hours consistently 40-45 hours a week with most weekends off?
Out of more popular trades like HVAC, plumbers, carpenters, electricians, welders, etc., which has the best work-life balance? I have been thinking about learning a trade; however, I hear a lot of people work tons of overtime that are in trades. Is there any trade in demand that consistently works fewer than 50 hours a week with most weekends off?
