Gallbladder removal and bypass QOL
So I'm about to have my gallbladder out next week, then my bypass surgery should get set for sometime in the October/November time frame. (just in time for the holidays...) Anyway, I know that no matter what, from what I've read the first couple months are basically torture mentally. But what about after?
I'm worried I'm gonna be stuck eating just grilled lean protein and veggies for the rest of my life. My doc said basically fried foods, bacon, sausage, any form of sweet, anything creamy or savory will no longer be an option. Going through this liver shrink diet now has me really reconsidering because to me, that's not living.
