The Hollow Halls are probably some of the best dungeon crawling I've ever experienced

This is my first time playing the game. I'm only at copper tier, so I'm brand-new to seeing these dungeons.

Holy shit, I cannot praise this level design enough.

The aesthetic is huge and dark and imposing yet has an obvious mind behind it. I feel like I'm digging into a Lich's lair.

The space between big battles (and between rest points) is perfect. Each of those points have everything you need to recover.

Which is great and totally vital, because >!the increasingly large and less forecasted groups of enemies that eventually culminate in absolutely massive, respawning hordes of undead mixed with boss monsters had me pulling out everything I had even with a few levels on them.!<

The usual limitations of other dungeons aren't in the way: frustratingly running out of rest (since there are comfort/flame points) or getting stuck in circuitous maze-like shroud lairs that have that combo of hard time constraints and lack obvious markers of how to get out.

The way to go isn't always 100% obvious, but that's fine since the general route is "down and through doors you haven't already opened" and there's stuff to pick up on the way. I also didn't feel pressured to dip out and abandon the progress I made.

The lore drops, the plentiful (and most importantly, unique) loot in coffins and chests and jars, the many secret closets, the generous and relevant battle supplies all scattered throughout, everything kept me feeling like I was progressing and and not just slogging on through to a generic final objective.

I don't know if the devs read this, but consider this a standing ovation and love letter from me. This was one of the best gaming experiences I've had in literally years.
