Hi everyone,

I’m looking for some clarification on my specific situation. I am currently registered for the Level 2 August window, but I haven’t selected a specific exam date yet. The scheduling deadline is in two days, May 13th.

Due to some unexpected commitments in July that will significantly impact my study time, I want to defer my exam to the November window.

I have two main questions:

1. What is the correct process and cost? Since I haven't picked a date yet, can I simply leave it unscheduled, or will that result in forfeiting my entire registration fee?
2. How does the deferral work in this case? I’ve read about the 2027 policy changes, but I’m unclear on how to handle a deferral when a seat hasn't been reserved yet.

Has anyone dealt with this? Any insights on the most cost-effective way to move to November would be greatly appreciated.
