(Tw: FET failure)

Looking for any and all advice at this point(having already searched the sub) . The context: ever since I got my IUD out in 2024 I’ve had extremely light periods, what I would characterize as light spotting. Saw various OBGYNs for 9 months who reassured me this was normal and fine(especially since my estrogens and progesterone levels are all fine and consistent with a normal cycle) , but i just felt off. Fast forward to June 2025, I finally see an RE, explain my concerns about the periods, they aren’t concerned. Diagnostics come back great on all counts, literally described as “by the numbers you’re super fertile”, we’re diagnosed with “unexplained infertility”. We proceed to do our ER which results in 14 eggs, 3 embryos, 2 viable. Then we start trying for a FET through various medicated cycle protocols (oral estrogen, vaginal estrogen, patches etc etc). Nothing is able to get my uterine lining past 5 mm (and in general, the trilaminal structure was not great with the meds). No medication has any real effect on thickening the lining past 5mm. We decide to try a modified natural cycle, and we are able to get to 6mm and are approved for a FET in December 2025. which failed.

Following that , and because to me, the period issue still hasn’t been resolved, I asked for more testing before another FET attempt, so we did a hysteroscopy in January 2026, where they discovered and removed multiple adhesions around my fallopian tube entry and upper uterine area. They said this is consistent with Asherman’s syndrome potentially related to my IUD (maybe related to inflammation after insertion? I have never had a D&C or any other surgeries)

So, today: we have one embryo left. For timing purposes (out of town travel etc) we haven’t tried another FET since December 2025. My RE has (finally) expressed concerns about my periods, saying that since we can’t get the lining to a good place, she thinks the most viable option is surrogacy, which is not something my partner and I are open to.

My latest period was still super light. I’m almost thinking it’s worse since they removed the adhesions. I’ve looked into PRP (my clinic doesn’t do it, but I could seek it elsewhere) and acupuncture, but I’m wondering if anyone else has any other suggestions or protocols that worked in similar situations.
