How do you think Luffy would react if Shanks actually killed Barto? (Well, we don’t really know if he did.) We all know Luffy is basically his biggest fan and has a very unhealthy level of admiration for him, but what if it turned out that destroying Barto’s ship actually meant his death? And Luffy found out about it?

Personally, I honestly have no idea how Luffy would react in that situation, which is why I’m asking you guys.

What did you feel was missing in One Piece?

Personally, I missed naval battles and actual treasure hunting. I know it’s probably too late for that kind of stuff now, but it’s a shame Oda never made an arc focused mainly on searching for treasure or a legendary treasure.

As for sea battles, with the current focus on Haki and overpowered abilities, it probably wouldn’t work anymore. Even earlier on, the series didn’t really explore the downsides of having a Devil Fruit that much.

Still, I think it would’ve been really interesting if the Marines or some pirate hunters had an insanely powerful ship capable of easily sinking other ships, with a strong focus on naval combat. It could’ve been really cool to see the Straw Hats trying to survive against someone like that, especially if they used torpedo technology.

What about you guys? What do you think was missing from One Piece?
