I’m an incoming freshman and I’ll be outside the U.S. from June to mid-August.
When can I do SOAR? Is there an online/late August option, or do I need to complete it before leaving?

I was directly admitted to School of Business, but tuition is kinda concern for my family. My mom said if I can get scholarships + job on campus, I can go to Madison.
I’m looking at the WiSH scholarship portal and I’m confused how it works. Do incoming freshmen mainly submit essays/resumes/activities and get matched to scholarships, or do they mostly use the stats/activities from your original application?
Also, for oos students, how realistic is it to actually get scholarships (even smaller ones like a few thousand dollars per year)?
I was admitted to University of Wisconsin–Madison for Information Systems in the business school, and I’m interested in double majoring in either Computer Science or Data Science.
With the new College of Computing and AI being created, do you think it will make it harder for business students to add CS or DS as a double major? Or is it mostly just an administrative department change with little effect on declaring majors?
Would love to hear from current students/advisors.
