I'm kinda new to pinning insects and i want to know if you guys have any advice how i can make them better.

Hi i found this butterfly i believe it's a Vanessa cardui but please tell me if it's not.

I'm from the netherlands.

And does anybody know how they get so damaged at the wings and what i could for her/him? I put it on the flowers.
