Trying to pass my test..!!!

Hi everyone, I may just be venting and most probably sound stupid. But three days ago, I failed my road test due to not checking my blind spots enough and turning wide/short. I live on Long Island and because of the geometric design, I’m constantly so focused on maintaining speed especially while trying to take an exit. Anyway, coming to today..I almost got me and my partner into an accident because while trying to take an exit, I hit a side road. My partner has been super encouraging that I CAN drive, I just need to not have tunnel vision while driving.

One thing I struggle the most with is maintaining blind spots. I’m so cautious to not hit any cars that I just end up focusing on the road. And when I do try to check blind spots, I for some reason, start scanning which makes the car go off the lane. I kinda feel discouraged in a sense that I don’t want to be labelled as a bad driver or cause some accident. Any advice, encouragement or experience is more than welcome
