The DOJ and House Republican Leadership are stalling us. They are staying away from sworn testimony and file releases in hopes that we eventually move on.
The Epstein Transparency Act was great, but we need more than transparency. We need Justice. It seems that the only way we could get justice is if congress cornered DOJ into investigations.
If it is possible, I believe that members of the house should create the Epstein Justice Act. This would be a discharge petition referring the main members of the Epstein Class for criminal investigations related to Epstein to the DOJ. It should focus on the few individuals that have the most alleged evidence of criminal wrongdoing. Les Wexner, Leon Black, Jes Staley, and maybe Glenn Dubin. Similar to the Epstein Transparency Act it should be a very clear and concise document. Two to three pages at most.
The victims shouldn’t have to wait for a new administration to maybe do something for once. The Epstein Transparency Act proved that if Americans make enough noise and if enough politicians have principles you can make real progress.
u/Repmaxwellfrost please let us know if you have any insight on if this would be possible.
