My three guesses for how TCW would end up resolving
- Enemy of My Enemy
Henry decides that the only way to get revenge on Ellie is to strike a deal with the Government. Henry wasn’t aware of the rocket plan, but the loyalists most likely knew and would have told him. In this theoretical path, Henry and the loyalists would spill the beans to the government and offer their assistance in stopping the rocket launch in exchange for immunity against prosecution and the complete dissolution of the Toppat Clan. Henry parts ways with the loyalists after stopping the rocket and they live in relative comfort on their own.
- Table Turning
After being informed by the loyalists of the rocket plan, Henry decides to hijack the rocket hours before the scheduled launch and rebuild the clan in his own image with none of the original members, save for his loyalists. It would play out similarly to the Stickmin Space Resort path, though I figure they’d hijack the rocket before anybody else actually gets onboard. Henry would be too paranoid to take chances reforming any stragglers like he does in SSR.
- Burn it Down
Henry decides that the Toppat clan can no longer exist due to its betrayal against him. I imagine that he and his loyalists would find a way to board the airship and set a collision course with the rocket. The aftermath would be similar to the Revenged ending, but I imagine Henry and his loyalists would be able to escape the ship and avoid dying since it’s a team effort with more levelheaded planning. He parts ways with the loyalists and they live life on the run due to there being no immunity deal with the Government. That being said, I doubt they’d be actively hunted down. The Toppats are effectively destroyed.
Hopefully at least one of these sounds plausible!
