New to desert roses

Hello all i live in south texas in zone 9b or 10a depending on which website you listen to. I recently did a full makeover on my backyard because my soon to be wife has always wanted a place to plant flowers. But living where we live we knew we needed an sprinkler and irrigation system for both the lawn and the flowerbeds. We finally were able to do it and we ended up at a local nursery where these plants caught my eye. And my fiance absolutley loved them, so i picked out the one i liked the best as per orders of my fiance haha. That was about a month and a half ago. Anyways long story short i fell in love with this plant and its kinda sorta became my baby. Im still learning alot about them. It is a 3 color grafted desert rose. It has the red, the pink and white marbled, and the third main branch is still a mystery color because it only had one main branch when we got it and was significantly taller than the rest of the plant so i pruned it about 3 weeks ago. Currently propogating that one in soil and it has just started to take root after letting it dry out for 2 weeks. And i recently made another prune on the pink and white marbled area as you can see the cinnamon stain on the cut still. The first time i pruned it the source said to use superglue so i did but i wish i had researched more and just used the cinnamom bc now idk how to get that superglue off the cut. Maybe itll fall off on its own? Idk. But super happy to see 5 new branches growing from where i cut it! I just wanted to post a picture or two and ask yall how you think im doing, is there something yall see that i dont or something you feel i should know? Any tips and comments are apperciated! Oh and it is potted in cactus and succulent soil mixed with about 30 percent coarse sand (aragonite) as i do saltwater reef tanks and had a spare bag of dried never used aragonite. Thanks all! Sorry for the long post
