Advice on grout please

2 week old grout in shower. After noticing some discoloured grout, I used my nail to see if it was something sitting on the surface. The grout breaks away without much pressure. Contacted builder overseeing full bathroom renovation who said its normal, dont scratch the grout. Have also noticed pinholes and plastic sticking out.

Should the grout be harder than my nail?

Waterproofing and water stop in shower

We've had a few tiler issues, and he's not seemingly forthcoming in discussing issues. Ive been told this is fine but just wanting to make sure.

The gold strip is the water stop. The left side is inside the shower, right outside. The shower screen will sit to the right hand side. The waterproofing has been cut to expose the gold (get rid of the blue) but its just occurred to me this is breaking the waterproofing barrier.

Is this usual?

Edit: tiler is coming back today to silicone where there are gaps in the tiles. I assume he will do so to hide the messiness of the blue waterproofing and red tape. Concern is whether afte cutting the waterproofing like this, it remains waterproof.

Edit 2: builder (ACT) said this is standard practice. The water proofing has gone bot above and below the metal water barrier - while its been cut on the top to make it 'pretty', there is no issue with the barrier itself below. Hoorah!

Ignore the plaster and painting - thats a different issue!

I am just wondering if the gap between the tile trim is usual. I think its one of those things that once its all in I won't notice, but its bothering me at the moment.
