WILL MY PAPER BE CANCELED
So I've been taking my expired Smart Card (ID) to all my CIE exams since the start of the exam series and nobody ever said anything about it. No invigilator called me out or raised any issue.
However, today a random invigilator checked my ID more closely, noticed that it was expired, and told me it was a problem. They then asked me to write a statement. The sheet I was given had wording along the lines of "No proof of identity" or "Identity problem" (I don't remember the exact wording).
I'm really worried now. Has anyone been in a similar situation before? If my identity was verified throughout the exam series and this was only noticed today, is there a chance my paper could be cancelled, or is it usually just reported to Cambridge for review?????
