Career advice: HVAC/Revit vs Automation as a Mechanical Engineer

I’m a Mechanical Engineering graduate currently working as a Design Engineer in a solar company.

I’m confused between two career paths:

  1. HVAC Design + Revit MEP — aligns with my degree.

  2. Automation/Robotics — I’m more curious about this because I find it creative, money and interesting, and I’m willing to learn.

I’m stuck and time is passing. I don’t want to spend another year just thinking about it.

For people working in these fields, which path would you recommend and why? I’d really appreciate honest advice based on your actual experience.
