Dilmun is the D from the Will of D

Dilmun is the D from the Will of D

Here’s a theory I came up with after the latest episode:

I believe the “D.” in the Will of D. isn’t the name of a person, but the name of the Ancient Kingdom itself. The people who bear the “D.” in their names may have originally come from that kingdom or be descendants of its inhabitants.

During my research, I discovered the ancient Sumerian kingdom of Dilmun (also spelled Delmun in some sources). Interestingly, some texts connect it to the legendary empire of Mu. This got me thinking—what if Oda took inspiration from these ancient legends when creating the mystery of the Will of D.?

I’ll post a screenshot below. Feel free to look it up and share your thoughts!

The D from the Will of D

What if the D on Will of D is a name of the place not a name of the person? As per latest episode, about inherited will of Ohara. What if, it is the name of Ancient Kingdom that Clover want to reveal before he was killed? And the inhabitant of the Ancient Kingdom have D on their name.
