QME question
How long did your QME last?
So, I had my QME appointment today. I was expecting it would last at least an hour for a thorough questioning, I was out of there in 30 mins. I feel like I wasn’t really heard about the other issues. I have cumulative and specific injury
Claim. He did range of motion tests on my shoulder which is specific but I feel like the cervical and lumbar degenerative discs and symptoms were not really heard. He also said that the lumbar issue happens anyway as we age. It sounded so dismissive. Maybe I just expected to be heard with undivided attention since google says it should last 1-4 hours.
I’m thinking of letting my lawyer know, should I? Or wait till the report comes out.
It’s been a year long battle to fight the worker’s comp. My adjuster denied first then after 2 hearings nothing was done even when the judge ruled on my favor. Corvel excuse was that they mixed up my case twice. Idk if my lawyer is or was lagging on some of the parts he is supposed to do? So we went to the 3rd hearing recently, my lawyer had me

Anyway, anyone here has some stories to share reg QME and how long it took them to finish report?
I have not had any treatment or imaging on my shoulder. I am now waiting again for someone to call me and says MRI is being scheduled. Last hearing was two weeks ago, it’s another waiting game. I really want the MRI to see if I can or I even want to go back to my physically demanding job.
