Blurry vision with new glasses
Hi!
I had been wearing my old glasses for about 5 years (they were - 4,75 and - 5ish, unfortunately I don't know for sure). My doctor said that those were way too strong for me and I was able to read the small letters in the examination room with weaker lenses too, so my new prescription is - 4,5 for both eyes.
I got my new glasses today, but for far my vision is blurry. For close it's pretty sharp, however, it is super annoying and I'm worried.
It doesn't feel like the kind of blurriness that you have when you can't see something sharply after a certain point, it is closer to the feeling as if my pupils were dilated during an eye exam. They are also a bit sensitive to light.
I've been wearing glasses for 10+ years but I don't remember feeling a sensation like this before.
Do my eyes have to adjust still? How do I know if the prescription is not right?
