Seller had it listed as ”Condition unknown”. Cosmetically it looked great but when arriving to look at it, the lever was jammed and my father that is an analog photographer felt like the purchuse was a bad idea and cost more than it was worth to repair. On our way home, I had a gut feeling that it was working as I recognized that exact jam.. it felt like it was already cocked but wouldn’t fire. Did some research and found out that the AE-1 needed a battery to fire so I trusted my gut feeling, returned and bought it for the price we agreed on. Turns out the battery was the issue and I got my own first analog camera! :)
