With the recent needoh hype how has it affected everybody?

Alot of people on insta, tt, and even reddit claim they are on the spectrum or knows somebody on the spectrum that needs it urgently. So has it affected anything in your job or is this just people glamorizing and trying to guilt trip others?

I’m currently not working but a few years ago in my clinic, we had a huge room of session materials (games,activities), and a tote of fidget toys(yo-yos,needohs, chew toys, orbeez). I remember they weren’t preferred over any other squishy or fidget toy so I just wanted to get everybody’s take.
