Two Scottish guys arriving early for the World Cup. What local food and spots do we have to try?
Hi! My mate Jonny and I are heading over from Scotland this June for the World Cup. We're getting into town a few days early (June 8th – 12th) to properly explore the city before it gets incredibly busy with "soccer" fans.
We really want to experience Providence the way locals do. I do some travel vlogging and I've found the absolute best experiences come from trying authentic hometown staples rather than the polished tourist traps you get in some cities.
So far, we've got a few essentials on our radar:
Olneyville New York System
Del's Lemonade
Finding somewhere to get a Coffee Milk
What else do we absolutely need to try?
Beyond food, are there any specific neighborhoods, pubs, or hidden gems we should check out while we're around?
Cheers for the help!
