Unpopular Opinion- AEG is actually good.

that’s right, I said it. besides episodes like Rules of The Game(Thomas being unlikable) and the Great Bubbly Build(very unrealistic and the songs sound like MLP(nothing wrong with that show btw)), The show has good episodes. Episodes like the Christmas Letter Express, Thomas For A Day and Shake Rattle and Bruno. Sure the physics and child actors make it a 6.5/10 instead of a 7, but engines like Thomas(cheeky, a bit impatient), Toby(wise, pep in step), Percy(soft and kind) keep their core personalities. Sure, some characters like Gordon(not pompous), and Emily(no personality) were a bit bland, but it wasn’t as bad as the HiT era‘s mischaracterizations of characters like Edward. Overall, it’s not a bad show at all, it’s just not as good as the original series.

Plot- After celebrating many birthdays at Pasqually’s Pizzaria, Chuck E. feels left out. He doesn’t have parents, and he doesn’t know his birthdate He slowly stops preforming shows. This worries his friends, Jasper , Pasqually, Helen, Munch and Bella who go on a road trip to find Chuck’s birth certificate and parents who turn out to be Charles Cheese(a derby hat wearing wisecracking mouse) and Molly Mouse(a motherly mouse) who once owned a pizzzeria company but after a scandal, it shut down leaving them homeless and unable to take care of their kid, they dropped him off at an orphanage but when they dropped him off, his birth certificate went missing and they forgot his birthdate. it’s up to them to make Chuck’s birthday unforgettable after many years of not having one.

Oliver’s faith kept him and Toad From going Insane and it ultimately ended with their prayers for help being answered in the form of Douglas. Greaser/Diesel 10 is the murderous works diesel while Dennis(unwillingly), Norman(unwillingly), ’Arry and Bert are the other diesels. Greader chased Oliver, Douglas and Toad until he derailed on a switch. Oliver has had PTSD since from watching engines being scrapped. Toad is like an emotional support brakevan. Those are my changes from the canon.
