Hi, this might be a stupid question sorry.

I really like the new baggy painting clothes that came as an IAP this years days of colour. I've heard stuff about when an IAP comes that costs real money for a days of event one year, the next years after it can be bought for candles instead. Alas, the rainbow shawl wings thing that i really liked but didn't get last year is still the same price for real money this year.

Is IAPs switching to candles when they return a thing that happens? Does it only happen for some items and not others? Trying to decide if i buy the baggy trousers for money or wait to see if theyre for candles next year, but also don't want to wait a year to find theyre the exact same price lol.
