[FS][US-IL] Entire homelab in a rack, 7x servers, UPS, KVM, switches, etc.

Due to selling my house and needing to downsize, I'm letting go of my entire homelab - preferably in one go. Would be a fantastic way to start your own homelab journey with everything you'd need:

  • Dell R420, 24 cores, 384Gb RAM, 4x 1Tb HDs (1U)
  • Dell R710, 16 cores, 128Gb RAM, 8x 1.2Tb HDs (4U)
  • Dell R710, 8 cores, 4Gb RAM, 8x 500Gb HDs (4U)
  • 2x Dell T3400, 4 cores, 4Gb RAM, 8x 1Tb HDs (4U each)
  • Intel S5500BC, 16 cores, 32Gb RAM, 14x 2Tb (4U)
  • Dell T3500, 6 cores, 24Gb RAM, 1Tb HD, LTO3 tape drive with ~60 tapes (4U)
  • APC Smart-UPS 2200VA (2U) (with management NIC)
  • Mikrotik 10Gb SFP+ switch with DACs & 10Gb NICs
  • TP-Link 24-port Gigabit switch (1U)
  • 8-port VGA KVM switch (1U)
  • Tripp Lite 42U server rack

Happy to provide more details, I'm asking $1,200 for the entire lot. The rack is currently located in my basement, I'm in the 60077 zip code for local pickup since the shipping costs would be outrageous - you will need a couple of guys to bring it all up & out.

The R420 makes a great VMware (or Proxmox) host, the 128Gb R710 is a nice database server with all those nice fast 10k 6G SAS drives, the other R710 was a domain controller for a while, and the two T3400 towers are identical, very useful for testing HA / failover. The Intel server is currently running TrueNAS with 2x 7-drive vdevs and a 10Gb link to the R420 through the SFP+ switch.
