Sooner or later, there’s gonna be a clash on the pod with Jacob Steinberg over Israel/Palestine
As some of you know, pod contributor and Guardian writer Jacob Steinberg is an ardent Zionist, check his Twitter. From what I can tell the two hosts and a number of regular contributors are pro-Palestine or at least sympathize more with the Palestinian cause.
So far, this hasn’t come up in Steinberg’s recent appearances but I feel his Zionist views is a kind of elephant in the room when he’s on. I can envision a moment where Manor Solomon (who plays for Steinberg’s club) and his chant are mentioned and that leads to a more fraught discussion.
It’s very to see him and Barry going at it, given Barry’s previous comments about Gaza on the pod.
