First wash - Dandruff
Hey, I need urgent help.
I started my microlocs twist journey 10 days ago. My loctician told me to go a month without washing my hair, which I told her probably wouldn't be possible because, knowing my scalp, I know that after a week of being dirty, it gets super smelly, itchy, and full of dandruff. But I said I would try for two weeks.
And that's what happened. Today I had to wash it because I couldn't anymore, and I was getting worried because I started getting a lot of dandruff, and I know that if it accumulates, it will get worse, and my biggest fear is getting dandruff and dirt trapped in my locs.
I washed my hair with Vichy Dercos Anti-Dandruff Shampoo, which is great for me, but after washing, my roots are still full of dandruff. Now I'm desperate, afraid it will stick to the locs. I'm waiting for my hair to dry more to try and remove as much as possible, but I'm really sad that this happened.
I'll really have to wash it as soon as dandruff starts appearing, but I don't know how much that will mess up my journey. Do you have any tips on how to remove dandruff from dry hair?
