Best set up to attract from a distance

There is a very visible and active murder in and out of my neighbor’s yard (we each have 3-acre lots). The neighbor doesn’t feed them or any other wild birds or animals.

The crows often fly over my house and sometimes perch up high in my trees. I think they may be interested in my livestock feed (goats & chickens) but I’ve never seen them land in the pasture. The guardian dogs might be too intimidating for them.

I also feed wild birds and have baths and a water garden for them near my house.

My main question is where should I start? Should I place some unsalted peanuts in a separate area of my property (I do have a gazillion squirrels so I’m unsure how long they’d last) or should I try to get the crows’ attention another way? Thanks 😊

Cracking

I picked these Black Krim tomatoes because of the cracking in hopes they will ripen inside. I don’t think they’re far enough along though as there is no blush, but I feared they’d crack open and took a chance.

I had the same problem last year, but this year I’ve been trying to improve by regulating watering and they’re in a 8’ x 3’ bed.

We’re in a severe drought (Zone 8b) and just had rain for the first time over a couple of days combined. That’s when the cracks appeared. We are now entering a more steady rain season.

I’d love any advice on how to deal with this. Thank you!
