On the updated 外免切替 driving test

(I hate ranting about Japan, but I do need some advice if anyone has it.)

I knew they made both the written and driving test more difficult, but I have to say I'm pretty disappointed.

After going to my local driving school to run the courses and get all the information, I was told that I'm a great driver and I'll have no problem on the test. I memorized all three courses and was prepared, and understood the most minute details.

My score for the driving test?

50/100.

The reason, which I asked for and was politely given: you take your left hand turns a little too wide. You did this a few times and that caused you to fail. I take my turns slightly wider because I'm used to driving, daily, a bigger car. When I mean slightly, I truly mean a "that's some Japanese shit" level difference. Like eating the best ramen you've ever had and giving it a 3/5 because it just is. I pushed for more info, that's all I got.

No dangerous actions, drove the S and Crank to perfection, stopped before all the lines, did all the checks. Truly thought I got around a 90/100.

Does anybody have the grading metrics that are used for this new test? I know each center is probably different in some ways, but I talked with the other people in my test group and everyone seems to be confused about what the actual metrics are, where to find them, and where you really need to watch out the most.

Again, I went to a driving school already to get coached up for a few hours, spent way too much money for it, and still failed.

Anyways, Japan is going to Japan, nothing to be done about it.

Fortunately, I can still take the test again, but I'll need to drive myself 1.5 hours, one way --down the 高速道路, again -- to my testing center next month. (international permit)
