Anyone try adding bay leaf in a pressure cooker?
I can't find any source of anyone ever adding bay leaf into a pressure cooker. My understanding is that pressure cookers decrease cook times by like 3x. I am currently using a instant pot so I wonder how long a bay leaf should be kept in to infuse its flavour considering its size compared to a large body of water, and my belief is that it traditionally takes around 40 minutes simmering to have an effect. Based on the belief pressure cookers will decrease cook times by 3x plus natural pressure release also adding onto the cooking time, do we keep a bay leaf in the pressure cooker for a maximum of maybe 10 minutes for a soup-based dish or is less fine?
