Dermatology/ Aesthetics Sales?
I am currently in orthopedic medical device sales for a very large company but I am feeling burnt out and just over the dynamic at my agency. It will be 3 years working for this company and I have been feeling very stressed and anxious about my role here. We have had a lot of people jump ship which has shaken some things up. Aside from that, the people are hard to work with and with all of the work I put in, I don’t get enough of a reward. The money is not there and I have been given so many empty promises just to string me along. I’d like to remove myself from ortho all together and not have as much time “in the field”. I love skin care, aesthetics and derm so I’m leaning more towards that side of medical sales but I’m not sure what the pay is like. I like the idea of a hybrid position so more office visits, phone calls and meetings rather than actual case coverage in hospitals everyday.
Is anyone currently in aesthetics or derm sales? What are the best companies to work for and what is the work life balance like?
Is there a good chance someone can make a really good career in this field?
