Help! Freeze Dried Starter
I bought a freeze dried starter off Amazon. It did great the first two days and now it’s fallen flat. Not rising at all.
Day 1-3, fed every 24hours. It would rise and fall but still double the size.
Day 4-5, fed every 12 hours and it would rise slightly. But still be more than what I started with.
Day6-7, fed every 12 hours and it’s not moving at all. Small bubbles but there is nada.
Again this is a freeze dried starter, so should I have started baking right when I saw it peak? Did I completely screw my sourdough up?
I’ve also been discarding and doing the 1:1:1 ratio.
Help please!
