Second thoughts

I purchased a MacBook Pro 14” 24gb 1 TB this weekend and I am not going to lie, I am very happy with the quality of the battery, the screen resolution and the trackpad mind several other factors. I upgraded from a pc, which was great for the time but now my workflow requires more ram and the 16gb wasn’t cutting it.

I think I just miss how intuitive windows pcs are for me. Mind you, I use an iPhone and I’ve had a MacBook Pro 2 laptops ago throughout college.

I am not going to react impulsively and return it, however, I’ve been on the lookout for a pc with similar specs. I’ve seen several pcs online that are lower priced with 32gb ram and 1tb storage with a larger (glossy/bright screen). Money’s not an issue really but it is an important factor nonetheless. The work I do is in a busy clinic where I work as an independent contractor and I have to live desks around all the time depending on the staff needs. I also need to be able to go meetings, multiple simultaneous excel spreadsheets and a lot of clinical and financial tasks. The company is not buying it for me and doesn’t pay me unless I get them more business. So I’m between a rock and a hard place. I must say that using it last 2 days and not having to stay tethered to an outlets was a great experience.

What do you recommend? Stay and get used to it? (No I don’t want Bootcamp). Right now, my plan is to give it a week and then see how it feels.

Also, I bought an Anker prime tb5 docking station it was unable to get it to connect to my dual monitor setup at home (not a big deciding factor as I was tired at the time and gave up quick)
