FERS Disability Retirement and Skin Cancer.

Does anyone have experience or have any knowledge of filing for FERS Disability Retirement after having 10+ Basal Cell and Squamous Cell Carcinomas removed over the past few years. I have a federal job that requires me to outside roughly 50% of the time. I cover up and wear sunscreen but these things keep on popping up. I doubt reasonable accommodations could be made in my case. Is this something worth pursuing?
