I have this watch for my grandfather. It is very special to me, but it is incredibly Gaudy in my opinion. I’ve been calling around trying to find. who can strip and nickel coat but it is very difficult to find. This watch is from 1969 and made in the Daini Seikosha (Factory location: Kameido, Tokyo).
The case is gold covering bronze. I want to find a brand new case that I can put this movement inside. Can anyone help me understand what I need to be looking for? I am also looking to get a matching stainless or nickel bracelet.
