How to organize my balcony

This is my first year growing in a balcony. I am also a beginner in growing veggies.

How do I organize to keep all the pots off the floor and to make it look more neat (like those that appear in pinterest) and hopefully add more pots next time?

I have some pots on the leftside ledge (mostly kale and a few mustard greens) as this direction gets the morning sun. The top row of the 2 metal shelves get the full sun throughout the day. Today, I realized I should have moved the pots on the middle and bottom rows on rotation to the top shelf to get more sun during the day.

I had some leafies that curled, dried and died due to intense summer heat last April.

Ideally, I am not allowed to use the balcony railings due to apartment rules but I will see how I get on with being called out. I only placed a few hanging green planters and 1 white one yesterday to see how my leafies will grow given they are placed higher than other pots.

I am uncertain whether a vertical garden grid panel is possible on a glass window (left of my photo).

While I tried to ask ChatGPT, I still prefer human feedback.

Please be kind.

Pak Choi and Choi Sum leaves curling and becoming crisp

I am a beginner in gardening. When I started in March, my leafies looked ok. However, as summer and warm weather peaked, the leaves started curling and some became crisp, dried until the plants eventually died.

They are in containers in a shaded balcony. They get around 4 hours of morning sun.

I water in the morning between 9:30 am - 10 am, usually once in a day since the soil is still wet when i check using my finger in the afternoon. I watered with homemade fertilizer (grass clippings mixed with molasses in water - fermented for 2 weeks) once a week.

I included photos of the before (before peak summer) and after in mid April (peak summer) when all of my plants deteriorated and died. I almost wanted to give up.

What should I be doing differently in terms of care and maintenance? I sowed a new batch of seeds recently.

What to do with my Dill?

I grew this from cuttings given to me from our community garden. It has grown taller than I expected.

I am new to gardening.

How should I prune this?

Please suggest what should I do to keep it growing.

Thanks
