Hiding my real level from the new coach to shock him later: Genius move or absolute disaster? 🧠💥
Hello,
Our club just announced a new head coach for the first team. He’s a former Portuguese pro who has a great track record of getting teams promoted. Total outsider, nobody really knows him yet.
Because the slate is wiped clean, I have this crazy, anime-style plan in mind. I’m a natural lefty, that's my weapon, I’m super confident with it. But I’m tempted to do something wild: play strictly with my weak foot (my right) during the first few training sessions. I'm going to look absolutely terrible, missing easy passes and struggling. Then, out of nowhere during a big scrimmage, I switch back to my left foot and run the show to completely blow his mind.
Honestly? Writing this down, I'm starting to think it's a terrible idea and I might just end up getting benched for the B-team immediately. But we’re here for the fun, right?
What do you guys think? Has anyone ever tried a stunt like this? Also, on a more serious note: have you ever had a complete outsider take over your club? How did it go down for you guys? Let me know!
